Jennea Frischke

Jennea maintains an active production and art jewelry practice, and also owns and curates Birdseye Vintage. In 2006, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Alberta College of Art & Design (ACAD) with distinction, where she majored in Jewelry and Metals. She has participated in exhibitions such as Prairie Excellence (a traveling exhibition where only 12 Albertans were selected), and her solo show, Victorian Inclinations. Her solo show was based off of a travel grant she had received from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, where she traveled to London, England, and studied Victorian jewelry in museums. In 2011, she was awarded with the Alberta Craft Council Award of Achievement.
